It's the hottest trend in Blogger! Users adding word verification to prevent spam! No Hormel for me!
Believe me, I really wanted to resist adding word verification, because it's an added hassle that discourages people (particularly those who don't use Blogger) from commenting. I got used to deleting those annoying anonymous comments that would pop up right after I posted, no matter how many there were. But the last straw came recently, when these stupid automatic self-promoters began posting comments for entries I made months ago. Why this? Why me? Why now?
So, I apologize to the rest of the class, but you'll have to suffer the extra step on behalf of the few miscreants out there. Have fun distinguishing between the U and V in lower case warped italics.

The "q" can be a bit tricky, too. I'm just glad they have the word verification option because spam comments are obnoxious.
