Raise a glass of Gatorade...

... to honor the Florida Gators, the 2006 men's NCAA basketball champion. I guess they were just more thirsty than UCLA.

My ridiculously early prediction for the 2007 Final Four? Keep an eye on Ohio State, UCLA, North Carolina, and hometown surprise Georgia Tech. (I wanted to pick a mid-major, but they're just impossible to predict. Suggestions are welcome.)

Next year's national champion? Ohio State.

Maybe it was just me, but this game about bored me to tears...the women's championship game, on the other hand, had me on the edge of my seat. Poor Lady Devils...do I have to congratulate Maryland? Because I really don't want to.

It was a very good game, though I found the first half more enjoyable.

You don't have to cheer the Turtle, but bear in mind that the Maryland women aren't as evil as the Maryland men.

In a way, it's analogous to Duke. Duke men's basketball? Love 'em or hate 'em. Women's basketball? Lovable or likable. Men's lacrosse? No comment.
