The future of Hogwarts

The advertising has been subtle, but Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire hits the big screen this weekend. In honor of this occasion, McSweeney's has posted a short but disturbing list of "Forthcoming Books in the Increasingly Mature Harry Potter Series."

55 Fiction Friday's boggart is an interminable seminar with lectures by Marcel Proust, Leo Tolstoy, and Peter Jackson.


As political third parties go, the Literalist Party showed potential. Its candidate spoke plainly, delivered speeches that quickly came to the point, and never made a promise he couldn’t keep. And the results were evident: he gained in the latest polls. But things got messy when campaign strategists carelessly suggested that he press the flesh.
