Miracle on sand

On merely my 4th try, I finally managed to pass the Nevada bar exam. I've only been studying for this, on and off, since January 2003.

I'm sure it helped that local pressures (UNLV Law School has some friction with the State Bar office) made the pass rate 67% this time, rather than the 61% in July 2003 and July 2004, and the downright scary 50% pass rate in February 2004. Messy politics? I love you.

Now what?

Thanks Maulin! Now go update your blog. Don't you want to see your name alongside the wife, Al Roker, Moby, Margaret Cho, and RuPaul?

So are you going to go celebrate and go see the Celine Dion show at Caesar's??

You know me so well.

Disturbingly though, V, your comment has completely changed the content of the Google ads. Now it's all about Celine and Caesars Palace.

Yeah! It had nothing to do with messy politics or local pressures -- it's pure merit, baby, merit.

This is a triumph for all Canterburians worldwide. Now one of our own can defend us against the Vegas underworld of mafia chip bosses, Steve Wynn, and showgirls gone bad.

Whoa! Steve Wynn is a force of pure good. At least until I get a chance to check out his new casino next month.

But leave the bad showgirls to me.
