Flat Stanley gets political

Starting with the 2008 Presidential election, Nevada will be one of the first states that the candidates visit before voters decide which Democrat and which Republican they want to win.

Nevada is an interesting state; the people in Las Vegas and the rest of Clark County vote overwhelmingly Democratic, while the rest of the state votes mostly Republican. Because the city of Las Vegas is so large, this is about an equal number of people.

That's why many famous politicians come to Nevada, specifically Las Vegas. Even President Bush has been here a few times, and Flat Stanley had a chance to meet him.

Well, it was Flat President Bush. Which is fitting, because many of his policies are two-dimensional. Anyway, he spent a few moments talking to Flat Stanley in what I called the Manila Summit:

Only Flat Stanley got the joke.
