Subtext

I've often said that half the fun of reading this blog can be had by clicking the links. Expecting Dr. Phil, you get Jeffrey Tambor. Hey, is that Kathy Griffin? Nope, Chris Kattan in a wig. Beware! This is how my mind works.

Well, clicking the links is about to get reduced to 45 percent of the fun. That's because Janelle Renée has introduced me to the power of hovering. Now I can add little subtextual comments that pop up when readers allow their cursors to hover over certain photos or links. I tried it twice in the last post, and at least once here.

I'll try not to do it to the point of overkill.

My subtext was limited to pictures (mostly); I didn't know you can add it links, too!

My life is never going to be the same.

Very cool! But, now I have to figure out how to do it so I can spend more time on my blog...

Okay. To add subtext to a link or a photo, click on the "Edit Html" tab when you're creating a post. After the closing quotation mark of your link or photo, but before the closing bracket, insert a semicolon and then

title="I say something clever here."

Have fun!
